Required Age Details:
• Candidates age limit should be between 15 to 24 years.
• The age relaxation for all eligible candidates (SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD/ PH/ Others) is as per prevalent Govt. Instruction. For more details please go to the below official notification.
Educational Qualification: The Candidates must have passed X Exam (under 10+2 examination system with minimum 50% marks) & an ITI Pass certificate (in the trade in which Apprenticeship is to be done) granted by the NCVT.
Duration of training & Stipend Details: For all trades the training period will be 01 year and as per extant rules, directives issued by Railway Board from time to time.
No Hostel accommodation will be provided and selected candidates will have to make their own arrangement for stay during their training as per Apprentice Act, 1961 and they will be released on completion of the training.
Selection Method: The selection is purely merit based and the railway does not appoint any facilitation center/ coaching center for the said selection. The selected Applicants will have to pass the prescribed medical examination and physical fitness test.
Examination Fees: For applicants Belonging To SC/ST/PWBD/Women Category Application Fee is – Nil/- & For All Other Candidates Application Fee is – 100/-.
