PUC Scholarship: For the year 2024-25, the Religious Institutions and Charitable Endowments Department, which operates under the state government, has allowed online applications to be submitted for providing an incentive (Scholarship Application) to students from PUC to graduation.
In today’s day and age, education is given more importance in almost all parts. In this regard, to encourage the higher education of students, the Hindu Religious Institutions and Charitable Endowments Department has invited applications to select eligible students to provide an incentive (Scholarship Schemes in Karnataka) to students studying in various classes.
Karnataka Scholarship Yojana-Class-wise incentive details are as follows
The amount allocated for providing incentives to students from PUC to degree level by the Religious Endowments Department under the Karnataka State Government is as follows.
1) PUC/Pre-Degree – ₹5,000/-
2)ITI/JOC/Diploma – ₹5,000/-
3)Degree – ₹7,000/-
4)Postgraduate – ₹15,000/-
5)Other Medical Courses – ₹25,000/-
(Ayurvidic, Homeopath, and Unani)
6)Engineering- ₹25,000/-
7)Medical/Dental- ₹50,000/-
8)Foreign Studies- ₹1,00,000/-
Who Can Apply-Who can apply?
- Students who meet the eligibility criteria as per the list given below are eligible to apply for the incentive from the Religious Endowments Department.
- The candidates should be permanent residents of Karnataka.
- Should be studying in the class allotted by the department in the current academic year.
- Children of priests/employees working in notified institutions under the jurisdiction of the Religious Endowments Department are eligible to apply.
How To Apply-Where to apply?
Eligible students can obtain the application form from the office of the Religious Endowments Commissioner/Deputy Commissioner of the concerned districts/Taluk Tahsildar’s office before the last date for application and apply to the respective Taluk office along with the attested documents.
