Pradesh Scholarship Amount for Men and Girls:
A monthly stipend of Rs. 2,500/- is given to men and girls, and Rs. 3,000/- is given to girls. This is a scholarship scheme that is uniformly applicable across the country and is fully implemented by the Central Government.
Prime Minister Scholarship 2024-2025 Eligibility:
- The benefit of the scheme is extended only to the children of Ex-Servicemen and Coast Guard.
- To avail the benefit of the scheme, the student must be studying in a recognised college/college in India. Regular studies at the university are necessary.
- Scholarships are given only for higher education under the scheme, so the student must have passed the minimum academic qualification of class 12.
- The minimum academic qualification level in class 12 should have been secured at least 60%.
- If the wife of an ex-serviceman is currently working in any government service, then their children will not be given the benefit of this scheme.
- Children of soldiers who have suffered disability due to military reasons while in war or service are also eligible for this scheme.

Courses Listed for Scholarship:
Under the Prime Minister Scholarship Scheme, scholarships are provided for graduation and post-graduation after class 12. This scheme covers BA, B.Sc., B.Com and all other degree courses. Along with this, a scholarship amount is also provided for all PG courses for post-graduation and all professional courses after graduation.
Every year, 500 students from all over the country are selected as beneficiaries under this scheme. In this, the number of boys and girls in the scheme is equal, i.e. 250 girls and 250 boys are selected.

In the PM Scholarship Scheme, you can submit an online form through the National Scholarship Portal. For this, first open the portal and go to the students section. Now go to the Apply for Scholarship menu here.
If you have already created an ID on this portal, then log in with the help of your ID password; otherwise, get the ID password by creating your new account through the Register Yourself option. Now log in and select the PM Scholarship Scheme.
