After the 50-over ODI cricket series, the cricket fans’ focus shifts to the T20 format, where Captain Suryakumar Yadav will lead the Indian cricket team for the T20 series 2025 against hosts Australia from October 29 to November 8 in a five-match, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced this on Saturday. Shubman Gill has been named the vice-captain of this series.
These five-match series will be very important for India and Australia both teams, given that the ICC T20 World Cup 2026 is just a few months away, and both teams sides will be among the favorites to lift the trophy. In recent times, India has enjoyed a successful T20 run, winning the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 and earlier this year the Asia Cup 2025.
